An exhilarating 2-night,
3-day trip to fully enjoy
Osaka's summer events.

July 2026 in Osaka offers a variety of ways to have fun, from the Tenjin Festival, one of Japan's three major festivals, to the fantastical nighttime art event "teamLab Botanical Garden Osaka" and theme parks.

This time, we'll introduce a 2-night, 3-day model itinerary that starts from Shin-Osaka Station and allows you to fully enjoy the Tenjin Festival fireworks and food stalls, sightseeing in Osaka city, nighttime art experiences, and even theme parks and bay area sightseeing.

Our accommodation will be based at THE RISE Osaka Universal Bayside, located in the Osaka Bay Area, allowing us to efficiently explore Osaka in the summer while minimizing travel burdens.
Day01

Start your summer
trip to Osaka and
fully enjoy the excitement
of the Tenjin Festival!

11:00

Arrived at
Shin-Osaka Station

Arrived at Shin-Osaka Station.
We'll be heading to Osaka Station from here.

11:30

Lunch and sightseeing around
Osaka Station

Take the JR train to Osaka Station. Leave your large suitcase in a coin locker inside Osaka Station.
We'll enjoy Osaka's gourmet food while strolling around Grand Green Osaka and the Umeda area.
POINT!
Since there will be a lot of travel and crowds on the day of the Tenjin Festival,
it's best to start sightseeing with minimal luggage to make your experience more comfortable.
14:30

Travel to Ajikawaguchi Station &
check into
"THE RISE Osaka
Universal Bayside"

From Osaka Station, take the JR Osaka Loop Line or Yumesaki Line to Ajikawaguchi Station.
"THE RISE Osaka Universal Bayside" is about a 5-minute walk away.

POINT!
After checking in,
head to the Tenjin Festival
venue with only the
bare essentials.
16:00

To the Tenma/
Sakuranomiya area

From Ajikawaguchi Station, take the Osaka Loop Line via Nishikujo Station
and head towards Tenma/Sakuranomiya.
17:00

Enjoying the
Tenjin Festival!

Enjoy the lively summer atmosphere of Osaka by strolling through the food stalls,
watching the boat procession, and enjoying the fireworks display.
POINT!
It gets quite crowded at night,
so it's recommended to allow
plenty of time for your return train.
22:00

We returned to
THE RISE Osaka
Universal Bayside
for a relaxing break.

After the event, we headed to "THE RISE Osaka Universal Bayside".
I'll relax in a natural hot spring, washing away the sweat,
and get some rest to prepare for my outing the next day.

Refresh yourself in "Hinata no Yu," a natural hot spring located on the rooftop.
Enjoy a luxurious moment to soothe your mind and body.
Day02

Enjoy sightseeing in Osaka
and visiting
"teamLab Botanical
Garden Osaka"

09:00

Day two started with a slightly more
relaxed morning.
After enjoying a leisurely breakfast with
a wide variety of options,
change into comfortable clothes
and head out into the streets of Osaka.

You'll find yourself walking around
a lot, whether it's sightseeing or
shopping in the city.
Choose comfortable shoes and
enjoy sightseeing in Osaka
in a light and easy-to-wear style!

Take the JR Yumesaki Line or Osaka Loop Line to head towards Osaka Station.

Sightseeing in the
Umeda and
Namba areas

During the day, we went sightseeing
in Osaka city.
There are plenty of spots that are
uniquely Osaka, such as
Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and Shinsekai!

POINT!
Along the way, I recommend
enjoying some Osaka delicacies like
takoyaki and kushikatsu.
15:30

I went back to
"THE RISE Osaka
Universal Bayside"
to take a break.

To prepare for the evening's outdoor
events, we took a break at THE RISE
Osaka Universal Bayside.
Because temperatures are high in Osaka
during the summer, taking a break
in the evening will make it easier to stay
comfortable until night.
17:30

Departing for
"teamLab Botanical
Garden Osaka"

From THE RISE Osaka Universal Bayside,
take the JR train towards Nagai Station.

19:45

Experience
"teamLab Botanical
Garden Osaka"

"teamLab Botanical Garden Osaka" will be
held at Nagai Botanical Garden at night.
The vast botanical garden's natural beauty
and digital art merge to create a
fantastical space.
A distinctive feature of the artwork is that
it changes in response to wind, rain,
and people's movements.

POINT!
The event in July 2026 is
scheduled to be held
from 19:45 to 21:30 (last entry at 20:30).
During the summer months,
it's a good idea to bring a light
jacket or insect repellent spray
to protect yourself from
mosquitoes.
22:30

Return to
"THE RISE Osaka Universal Bayside"
and relax.

After enjoying the art at night, we returned to "THE RISE Osaka
Universal Bayside" via the same route we came.
Relax in a guest room that feels just like home, and unwind while savoring
the memories of your trip.
Day03

Travel light and easy to your theme park!

10:00

After checking out,
put your luggage
in a locker at the
station.

After a hearty breakfast,
we checked out.
After checking out, it's convenient to
use the coin lockers around
Ajikawaguchi Station or
Universal City Station.

POINT!
It's just one train stop to Universal City Station.
Depending on the time of year, those confident
in their physical fitness can also walk there.
10:30

Enjoy the theme park

Let's fully enjoy the theme parks
that are
hosting summer events!
POINT!
If you're looking for something other than theme parks,
I also recommend visiting the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan or
the Tempozan area.
16:00

Move to Shin-Osaka
Station

After leaving the theme park, we retrieved our belongings
from the lockers.
We will now head to Shin-Osaka Station.
POINT!
It takes about 15 minutes by train from Universal City Station
to Osaka Station.
Furthermore, if you use the JR Kyoto Line,
access to Shin-Osaka Station is smooth, taking only about 4 minutes.

Still feeling the
energy of Osaka,
I headed home.

As I head home, I reflect on my 2-night,
3-day trip to Osaka, where I fully enjoyed summer
in the city with fireworks, digital art, and theme parks.

    rooftop!
    Raising a toast together while
gazing at the night view of Osaka
will make it an even more
    memorable night.

    hot spring

It includes a natural hot spring
    where you can properly soothe
    your tired body after walking.
    Refresh yourself at this
    full-fledged spa, which includes

    to carbonated springs and saunas,
and you're sure to be able to
    play to your heart's content
    the next day.

    and facilities

    "Accommodations where you can
stay as if you were living there"
    The themed rooms, furnished with
    furniture from famous brands,

relaxation, just like being at home.
    The fully equipped kitchen and
    washing machine are also great
    features.
We also have spacious rooms that
can accommodate up to 9 people,
making it ideal for group stays.

  • A satisfying meal

    You can enjoy high-quality meals
for both breakfast and dinner at
    the hotel's restaurant.
One of the attractions is being
able to enjoy a satisfying meal
    without having to travel.
